Who am I?

I hope if you find my blog, you find it interesting and informative. Feel free to share any interesting fact you have in the comments.

I really enjoy writing and am passionate about history. I always want to discover the past about everything. I love to discover and explore. So, I thought why not combine the two and share what I learn. It might be that nobody ever reads my blog, and to be honest that is not my primary reason or writing. It's a way for me to note things that I have discovered through my reading and research that gives it some clarity for me. If people read my ramblings then that would be fantastic but I think in order for this to work I need to focus on what I can benefit from writing this blog. It would be so wonderful if people shared things of interest with me. Maybe offer up a subject to explore, add to the information that I have gleened or even recommend a place to visit or book to read. This blog is primarily about discovery of the past and finding a way to put that into words so I can go back and read it myself.

I would also absolutely love to find a community here that also enjoy history and we can share knowledge together.
